Ruthie is a new mother and a lifelong choir singer. She is a Miami-based psychotherapist at her practice RLL Therapy, and is also the founder of Stroll The Circle, a monthly community-building walk for new parents.

Singing has always been a constant in Ruthie’s life, from school choirs and a cappella groups to the University Chorus at UC Davis. After years without a place to sing outside of her one woman shower performances, she discovered Miami Sound Choir in 2022 and sang with them for five seasons, including all the way through 35 weeks of pregnancy.

After welcoming her first baby in January 2025 and spending many months singing lullabies at home, Ruthie began dreaming of a space where new parents could connect to themselves, to each other, and to their babies through song. Alongside friend and co-founder Laurah, they created Lullaby & Life, a parent and baby choir inspired by similar groups around the world. They are so excited to bring the magic of group singing to new parents and their babies in Miami by creating a warm, welcoming space for singing, connection, and community.
