Grief in Community
Too often, dying and grieving are lonely experiences.
Confront the silence and isolation that often accompany loss, and experience healing through music and connection, during this powerful community event from We Met in Miami and Miami Sound Space.
Join us on Monday, Nov. 17, at 6 p.m., for Grief in Community, an evening of sound healing and facilitated conversations on death, grief, and the transformative power of community.
This unique evening blends:
Sound Healing Performances: Featuring the gentle voices of the Miami Sound Space Threshold Singers, who bring comfort and peace to individuals on the threshold of life's end during hospice care and other end-of-life services.
Panel Discussion: Insights from local practitioners specializing in end of life care, death, grief and healing.
Facilitated small-group conversations: Build meaningful connections and community with others who have experienced death and grief.
Your donations are appreciated. This event is a collaboration of two nonprofit organizations, and both are in the midst of a vital fundraising campaign for Give Miami Day. Early giving begins on Nov. 15. Show your support for our efforts to heal and strengthen our communities by making a donation.
